Internet marketers continue to make me feel like a loser

First my only Netflix friends sent me an e-mail letting me know it's okay to ask for more movies in case I happen to be suffering from lonely long weekends. Now they're helping me out by providing "Teen High School" movie suggestions on my home page, based on my preferences...

Is this suggestion really based on my preferences, or does Netflix maybe have customer surveillance of more than one Friday night involving sweatpants, thai takeout, peanut butter M&Ms and perhaps two or three films in which teenage angst is expressed via the language of dance?

Does it make it any better that the "Play instantly" movies are both indie? Probably not because that means they're still in my queue... and probably will continue to be pushed down by movies that end in choreographed prom scenes.

Oh god. I better log in right now to play instantly a coreographed prom scene. One with fuzzy focus and blissfully youthful lighting.

I thought it was funny when netflix reccommended to me several movies in the "tv shows about marriage" genre.

Aparently their movie troll isn't as intuitive as they'd like to think.

I'm embarrassed how enthusiastically I talked about Glee.... I love it...

I need to catch Glee! I keep forgetting and now it's too late. One week when Jeffy was out of town I watched a few instant movies I knew he wouldn't touch. For some reason indies are more tolerable during the day than on Friday night when I'd rather watch teens dance. Sherry Baby was really good...

Lol, the netflix selections for me always make me feel like a dork. Here are the categories personally selected for me by Netflix:

Raunchy High School Comedies (so not only a choreographed prom scene but a deflowered virgin as well), Mind Bending Movies, Suspenseful Dramas based on Contemporary Literature, Sentimental 80s movies, and Scary Serial Killer Mysteries.

Man I'm screwed up.
